A friend of mine asked me to photograph his friends in his place due to his absence caused by a workshop he had to take in Istambul. I said “yes” I`ll do it.
The CityHall Ceremony took place in Bucharest on Thursday 24th of June; my hell week. I was in Bacau for 5 days, then on Thursday morning @7:00AM I jumped on the train to Bucharest. The train was supposed to arrive at 11:45AM. It didn`t! The locomotive broke down after half an hour. It got to Bucharest North Train Station @ 13:25. Needless to say I had to be at the City Hall at 13:30.
I asked somebody to fill in for me in case the train wouldn`t make it in time, but I called and canceled when the driver said “well be in Bucharest @ 13:00″. I had time… but then who thought that a late train would have to wait just outside the train station for 25 minutes just to get a pass to a free platform.
I got the the City Hall at 13:40 by cab miraculously nailing all the green lights. Lucky that the Romanian bureaucracy worked in my favor. Laura and Ionut got postponed another 30min.
